It begins... IT BEGINS!!!
(Keep track of my progress over at my REAL blog, www.TopperGrey.com. Also, fuck you, Mozilla, 'progress' is a word.)
How are you financially planning for your future?
I'll turn my "On/Off" switch to "Off".
If you had an extra day each month - that no one else had - how would you spend it?
Probably curled up in a ball in the corner of my room, rocking back and forth, and repeating "It's ok... it's ok... it's ok..."
What are your fitness goals? What is helping or preventing you from accomplishing them?
Presented by Intel, Sponsors of Tomorrow.
Fitness goal: being back in fighting shape.
Helping: http://nerdfitness.my-goo.net/ and Jason Ellis.
Preventing: The inherent deliciousness of food and difficulty of exercise.
For those of you who weren't aware of the changeover, I've been doing my blog over at www.TopperGrey.com , in an effort to try and focus on a 'real' website. Vox isn't mine, Mighty Jalapeno hasn't been me for a while, and while Topper Grey isn't really me (until he publishes something) it's still something I had to pay cashy moneys for. It feels more real.
Gee, is it any wonder I haven't published anything?
Anyways, if you all want, you can head on over and check it out. I may not have blogged every day, but I am 50 out of 50 for the "Things That Make Me Happy", so there's a lot of backlogged useless crap, and exciting YouTube links, which is why people read my blog anyways.
Cheers!
What is it too soon for?
Being a grownup. Seriously, what the fuck?
What makes a good internet friend?
*shrugs* I dunno. Bacon?
This was mostly just an excuse for me to share this song with people. Dark Knight is surprisingly hard to put to slow songs (Christopher Nolan LOVES his flash-cutting).
Would you rather be rich or famous?
That's like asking "Would you rather have a great body or cancer?" Of course, rich. Fame is just about the least useful property one could possess, somewhere in between being a lagomorph and smelling like cabbage.
Inspiration struck this week, which I guess is a good side effect of massive sleep deprivation, near starvation, and fever. I've been working on a new story, and for the first time it's a fantasy story where I am developing the entire WORLD, and it's epic history, before specific characters. Strangely, it struck me after reading 2010: odyssey two. I'm not sure how that led me to a fantasy world, but it totally did. I'm not sure how the story is going to end, but I've got the previous two periods in the world's history more or less thought out, including reasons for stuff, and a few characters worked out (I'm not even sure who's the main one yet!) It's REALLY exciting.
I'm also working on two (2!) new music videos, one for Dark Knight and one for Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. The song for the Wonka video only hit me yesterday, and I'm SO STOKED! The one for Dark Knight I can virtually guarantee none of you have ever heard before.
If any of you wondered where I was (for some reason) I was focusing on my other websites, if I was online at all. I don't even unpack my laptop most nights. I have too much to do in meatworld, and my laptop is mostly just distractions, although I'm hoping to focus more on the practical uses (AutoCAD and MovieMaker and, of course, WordPad).
Here's some entertaining stuff that isn't mine ( I wanna repost my Spongebob and Nightmare videos just because they've got SO FEW VIEWS, but you're all probably sick of them by now.)
Danko Jones' has been around FOREVER, and he's still fresh-sounding and interesting. Usually by this point, most bands have become Nickelback.
